Comway is an independent global IT distributor that supplies computer components, options and high-quality accessories from leading manufacturers.
In 2008 we helped Comway develop their website and “stock-in-one-click” ordering system. The company grew from being a small business to become a medium-sized company operating worldwide. The rapid growth was based on market knowledge, business acumen, service and efficient processes.
However, communication efforts were limited to of prices, terms, conditions and specifications. To sharpen communication (and therefore differentiation) of the Comway brand, the company went through an internal brand discovery process.
A large part of the dialogue with customers was conducted on the phone rather than online. The website was outdated - both from a visual and content perspective - and it failed to reflect Comway as a credible and major player on the international market.
Hardware may be a necessity, but its ubiquity has made it a commodity. To differentiate Comway, we needed to highlight other value-adding aspects of the company – remarkably short deliver times, a deep knowledge of corporate IT needs, and an ability to conduct business in 17 languages
